Are dogs allowed on site?

Sorry but because Thruxton is an active airfield and race circuit no dogs are allowed on site, other than assistance dogs provided they are kept on a lead at all times.

When do advance tickets come off sale?

Advance tickets will be available for booking online for collection (subject to availability) up to the day before the event.
Please note DISCOUNTED ADVANCE tickets change to FULL PRICE ADVANCE tickets at 5pm on Monday 6th June.
Please also note Advance tickets purchased before 5pm on Friday 3rd June will be posted out. Any ticket purchases made after this time will be available for collection on arrival at the event, to avoid any possible delays in the post.

Tickets are available to purchase on the day, subject to availability. We recommend you book in advance to avoid any possible disappointment.

What time does the event open to the public?

The site opens at 8am each day. The Land Rover Legends show opens at 9am each day, along with the racing at Thruxton Historic.

What time does the event close to the public?

6.30pm on Saturday and 6.30pm on Sunday.
Saturday evening entertainment, catering and a bar is available at the circuit for those visitors staying over.

Is there public camping on site at the event?

FREE public camping pitches will be available for this event for ticket holders, subject to the Government guidance and restrictions in place at the time.
Land Rover camping is situated next to the Land Rover Legends arena for 2022. There is no need to book in advance, as there is plenty of space in the grass campsite area at the venue, which will be open with access to toilet facilities, wash basins, water and waste disposal (for rubbish and chemical toilets). There will be no showers or power hook-ups available. The campsite will be open from 12pm on the Friday and will close 12pm on the Monday. BBQ’s are permitted and must be raised off the ground. Open fires are not permitted.
The campsite is manned 24 hours a day but the latest arrival is 11pm, to avoid disruption to other campers.

Do you offer free tickets for carers for disabled visitors?

Carers of our disabled guests may be entitled to free admission at Thruxton Race Meetings, however this must be arranged prior to the event date. Anyone turning up on the day will not be able to obtain a free carer ticket. More information available on the Ticket page of this website.

Do I have to pay for parking?

Parking is free for ticket holders.

Is there special parking for Land Rovers?

If you’re coming in a Land Rover but are not part of our official display or parking with one of the registered Land Rover clubs that are attending, your car can still be a part of the show! Got your advance discounted tickets? Turn up at the gate and you'll be directed to park in our special Land Rover forward parking area, so your vehicle will have plenty of four-wheeled friends to socialise with. If you don’t book your entry ticket in advance you’ll need to park up and buy your entry tickets on the gate and you will then be directed to the Land Rover parking area. Please note, Land Rover parking is dependent on space availability on the day.
